This is our first MUN training this year and we look forward to welcoming all new and returning delegates. If you missed the Give It A Go session, don't worry, you are more than welcome to join us then! In this training, we will focus on effective communication: speeches, debate, and note-passing, as well as basic rules of procedure. Our training will be held in 32L.LG.04.
Come join us for our training on resolution writing! We will be targeting effective solution development and correct resolution formatting as well. This training is mandatory for all delegates planning to attend ManMUN, OxIMUN and CUIMUN. Our training is open to anyone else who wants to come along and train their skills as well! This week we will be going back to our regular Thursday training session! The presentation topic this week will be on representing your country's interests. We will then be moving on to a simulation as usual. After the training, we will all head to the pub!
Carrying on with our training weeks, we are full-steam ahead for three weekend full of MUN conferences! The presentation topic this week will be on writing a resolution! We will cover all the nitty-gritty of legislative language and learn how to write a paper which will support your agenda, whilst also making sure that it will be able to garner enough votes for a touch-down victory! There will then be a simulation where you will get to test out your legalese against your peers.
This week our training session will be an introduction to crisis simulations, led by Max. Whether or not you've had experience in crisis committees, come along to develop your debating and quick-thinking skills. Trainings are welcome to all members with all levels of experience.
This training will focus on advanced skills for successful negotiations.
Come along on Thursday for this week's training from 6.15-7.45 in 32L.G.03. Chris will be discussing those committees (and delegates) you just can't get your head around, and how to deal with unexpected situations when they appear. MUN Training is open for all members at all levels of experience.

MUN training returns, 6.15-7.45 in 32L.G.03. In line with the theme of UNSoc's Awareness Week, we'll be discussing child rights with regards to those forced into combat as child soldiers. It's a thought-provoking topic and all members are welcome, regardless of experience. See you there!

MUN training is back again! We'll be in NAB.1.15 like last week, running from 6.15 to 7.45. Matheus will be leading us in developing lobbying skills, so definitely come along if you're involved in a Lent conference! As usual, training is open to UNSoc members of all levels of experience.
