Team LSE at the Closing Ceremony
On the 22nd of October, Team LSE crossed the strand and arrived at King's College London to participate in the annual University of London Model United Nations (ULMUN), jointly organized by the LSESU UN Society and the KCL UN Association.
During the day, delegates debated topics like 'Drug Raids in the Philippines' and 'Guaranteeing the Right to Privacy in the Digital Age' in committees like SPECPOL and the Joint Crisis Cabinets. Team LSE delegates had the opportunity to meet delegates from universities all over London, and test out the skills learnt from the last few weeks of trainings.
We are pleased to announce our award winners from the conference:
Mock Yi Jun, France in DISEC
Naufal Yudiana, Egypt in ECOSOC
Eponine H. Balibrea, France in HRC
Horatio Lyons, First Crisis American Cabinet
Tasha Chia, Second Crisis Soviet Cabinet
We would also like to congratulate and thank Team LSE members who served on the ULMUN Secretariat and Chairing Team:
Andreas Sorger, Deputy Secretary-General (Crisis)
Kristina Lau, Under-Secretary-General (Allocations)
Giulia Lima Bianchi, Chairperson in UNSC
Ben Alford, Chairperson in UNSC
ULMUN has helped strengthen the ties between the LSESU UN Society and the KCL UN Association, and we look forward to further collaborations.
